7th event

A few days before the summer vacations, Field of Life’s team returned to the 19th Elementary School of Nikaia. It was our second event at that specific school, as two weeks earlier fourth, fifth and sixth graders were introduced to Field of Life’s programs.

Younger kids were looking forward to entertaining themselves at Field of Life and their excitement was more than obvious. They played basketball, danced, learned how to conduct scientific experiments, were introduced to the word of Astronomy and observed the sun with our special telescope. For the first time, kids took part at the “Running Stars” program, which combines track and field with fun. Finally, they turned into secret agents to protect our planet and learned about the current environmental issues.

During the break, Field of Life’s volunteers offered to every kid a lunch box and water. At the end of our event, their received their special gift. At the same time, kids’ parents had the chance to attend our first aid and safe internet browsing seminars. Coach Panagiotis Giannakis and our COO, Dimitris Giannakakis, presented Field of Life’s vision to them and shared information about the hub we are building in Nikaia.

Coach Panagiotis Giannakis also talked to the kids about their inner strength. We will meet again in September!
