Iro Valdesera was born in Athens in March 1996. She holds a Bachelors degree in International & European Studies from the University of Piraeus. She also studies Strategic Communication on a postgraduate level at the American College of Greece - Deree College.
During her studies, she worked as an Intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the European Union, in Brussels. Her interests include foreign policy, strategic communication and public relations. She is experienced in the organisation of events and she has actively participated in civil society organisations during her stay in Brussels. Among other things, she has a thorough understanding of the functioning of the European Union, its policies & procedures.
